Denta Fun Run 2025 was not merely a running competition, but a lively event that combined sports, entertainment, and reunion among participants. Belva Nasywan Widyantara, a student of the Dentistry Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Class of 2022), shared his experience: “This is my first time joining a running event from PSMKGI. It was exciting to have a brief reunion with friends from Region 5 PSMKGI. There were also participants from UMS and UGM, so I could make new friends. It was really fun, though also quite tiring. Wishing continued success for Pramunas PSMKGI UGM!”
Yohan Budianto, a Pharmacy student at UGM (Class of 2022), expressed similar enthusiasm: “I’d rate it 8/10. I really enjoyed the 3K and 5K route variations, the photoshoot spots were great, and we were cheered on at every checkpoint. Met a lot of people—it was super fun overall.”
Denta Fun Run 2025 also succeeded in collaborating with Kimia Farma, which provided free general health services including blood pressure checks and body condition assessments using a quantum resonance magnetic analyzer, capable of detecting health indicators from head to toe (e.g., eye health, cholesterol, uric acid, blood sugar, respiratory and digestive health, bone condition, hormones, prostate, and LDL levels). fun run.
Free Dental Check-ups
In collaboration with clinical dentistry students (Koas) from RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo, six dental interns—three as operators and three as assistants—offered free dentalscreenings services for participants.
Local UMKM Vendor Booths
The event also featured local MSME (UMKM) vendor booths to support local economic development, broaden market access for small businesses, and enhance the participant event experience.
