About Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Gadjah Mada
As the time goes by, Faculty of Dentistry UGM trying to actualize the sustainable innovation in order to implement its vision and mission.
Campus is expected to be the academic excellence center, new science contributor, society empowerment, and also social relevance to create the autonomous and welfare livelihood. The independent and equitable society is the vision of health sector which is launched by the Indonesian Health Ministry. Faculty of Dentistry UGM as an institution which create the dentist alumni that will be an expert in providing the healthcare service, have a role and responsibility to take part on integral part to realize those vision.
The role and responsibilities were actualized by conducting a series of educational activity, research and community service which is hand in hand with the vision and mission and also aims of the Faculty of Dentistry UGM, to take part in realizing the national goal in health sector.
Vision
To be an international level faculty which is excellent, innovative, and dedicate towards the nation interest and imbued by the culture and professionalism value based on Pancasila.
Mission
To carry out education, research, dedication and service towards the society in the field of oral and dental health professionally with the excellent science preservation, beneficial and having global perspective.
Objective
- Realizing the Faculty of Dentistry UGM as a national educational institution that instills and teaches science and human life in general, for the development of the nation and people in particular as an embodiment and implementation of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as for the achievement of the ideals of the Proclamation of Independence as specified in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Forming human beings who have superior character, innovative, high discipline, noble character, Pancasila spirit, responsible for the future of the nation and state of the Republic of Indonesia in particular and humanity in general.
History
