On Wednesday (23/08/2023), FKG UGM organized a Training on 3D Printing Techniques for Biomedical Applications. In 2022, FKG UGM acquired a three-dimensional (3D) printer for biomedical applications in dental medicine through the "Kedaireka" Matching Fund scheme

On Tuesday (22/08/2023), the Integrated Research Laboratory conducted a Stem Cell demonstration led by PT Abirama. This workshop introduced the method of isolating peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). Additionally, it showcased the isolation of natural killer (NK) cells using the principle of immunomagnetic separation.

FKG UGM hosted a courtesy meeting with representatives from the University of Groningen, Netherlands, including Drs. T.N. (Tim) Zwaagstra, Senior Policy Advisor Southeast Asia and Japan, and Mr. Mervin Bakker, Director of International Strategy and Relations. The meeting focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in educational development through a Double Degree Program to be implemented by both institutions.

On 17 August 2023, in commemoration of the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia with the theme "Continue Advancing for an Advanced Indonesia," all faculty members and staff of FKG UGM participated in the Independence Day Ceremony held at the Balairung, Universitas Gadjah Mada.

FKG UGM kembali hadir memberikan kontribusi untuk bangsa melalui kegiatan summer course bertema Smart Digital Health Technology: Shaping The Future Education and Clinical Practice in Dentistry berkolaborasi dengan Program Studi Teknik Biomedik Fakultas Teknik UGM. Acara yang berlangsung mulai hari Senin 14 Agustus hingga 20 Agustus 2023 mendatang ini diikuti hampir 90 mahasiswa asing dan dibuka oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Pendidikan dan Pengajaran UGM Prof. Dr. Wening Udasmoro, S.S., M.Hum., DEA. 

On 13 August 2023, this community service activity was successfully organized through the collaboration of the Yogyakarta Branch of the Prosthodontic Association (IPROSI), the Prosthodontics Program of FKG UGM, the Alumni Family of Dentistry FKG UGM (KAKGIGAMA), the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI) Klaten Branch, Klaten Islamic General Hospital, and the Alumni of UGM Geological Engineering Class of 1983 (Geo83).

From 7 to 9 August 2023, the Faculty of Dentistry at UGM conducted a training session on inorganic waste management. This event was a collaboration between FKG UGM, the Faculty of Biology UGM, and the Sonjo Community. The waste management training was attended by 60 participants from hospitals, health centers, clinics, and Islamic boarding schools in the Yogyakarta Special Region.

On Wednesday (26/7), FKG UGM organized the graduation ceremony for graduates of the Specialist Dentistry, Master's, and Doctoral Programs at the Margono Soeradji Auditorium. The event coincided with the graduation of the Postgraduate Program for the IV period of the academic year 2022/2023 at Grha Sabha Pramana UGM.
