Annisa, a UGM Dental Hygiene Student, Wins the Individual Communication Excellence Award at the CCEP Indonesia Business Case Competition 2025

Another proud achievement has been attained by a student of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM). Annisa Sastro Diyono, a 2022 student of the Dental Hygiene Study Program, successfully won the Individual Communication Excellence Award at the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Indonesia Business Case Competition: The Unbottle Challenge, held on 29–30 October 2025 in Jakarta.

This competition is a prestigious event that challenges students from across Indonesia to solve real-world business problems. Annisa was selected as one of the 40 best finalists from more than 1,000 participants. She also represented UGM as one of only two delegates who advanced to the final round.

“I was interested in joining this competition because the case was provided directly by the company, which helped improve my analytical skills and my ability to propose the best solutions to real problems. In addition, I gained knowledge from practitioners through a three-month bootcamp, something I did not get in the classroom,” Annisa explained.

Throughout the competition, the finalists went through a rigorous selection process, starting from document screening, business case analysis, to interview sessions. They then participated in a three-month bootcamp, before advancing to the final round in Jakarta.

In the final stage, participants visited the CCEP Indonesia Head Office in South Jakarta, followed by a visit to the Coca-Cola recycling plant in Amandina, Bekasi. Annisa and the other participants were then given a case study that had to be solved within 12 hours and presented before the leadership of CCEP Indonesia.

“My preparation focused more on mental and physical readiness, making sure I had enough rest two days before the competition because the case had to be solved within 12 hours. It was challenging for me because only two participants from UGM made it to the final. However, thank God I was able to bring home this award,” Annisa explained.

Annisa admitted that she has a strong motivation to pursue a career in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, particularly in marketing and branding. In addition to actively participating in competitions, she also enjoys traveling. This achievement serves as an inspiration for FKG UGM students to continue developing both academic and non-academic potential, and to prove that dental health students are capable of competing in national-level business competitions. FKG UGM extends its highest appreciation for Annisa’s achievement. This accomplishment is expected to motivate other students to continue creating and making meaningful contributions to society.

Congratulations to Annisa on her achievement! Keep up the spirit in carving more accomplishments and bringing honor to FKG UGM on both national and international stages.
