Senin (18/9) FKG UGM menerima rombongan dari Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Sumatera Barat. Pada kesempatan ini, rombongan FKG UNAND….
The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, received a visit from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in the context of the Field Assessment of the Specialist Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held from 6-8 September 2023.
FKG UGM, in line with the aspirations of its current Faculty leadership to Advance through Unity – Excellence in Achievement, has demonstrated a solid commitment to achieving accolades and enhancing its human resources capacity. This includes facilitating the career advancement of academic staff.
“Kami yakin bahwa FKG UGM akan mampu bersinergi dengan Kementerian Kesehatan RI dan menjadi salah satu tulang punggung dalam upaya menyelenggarakan fasilitas kesehatan, khususnya kesehatan gigi dan mulut, yang adil bagi masyarakat di seluruh Indonesia melalui UU Kesehatan ini.”
It's hard to believe that the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, will soon turn 75. Certainly, as one of the pioneering faculties of Universitas Gadjah Mada, which at that time was still merged with the Faculty of Medicine, it has gone through many ups and downs in the field of education. As its age increases, FKG UGM has also produced many dental doctors throughout Indonesia.
As of 9 September 2022, the Dentist Profession Education Facility and Specialist Dental Education at FKG UGM, namely the Prof. Soedomo Dental Hospital (RSGM) UGM, have been fully accredited. This follows the issuance of certificate number 008/SERT-AKR/LAM-KPRS/Set/IX/200 by the Hospital Accreditation Institute for Quality and Patient Safety (LAM-KPRS), awarding a 5-star rating (full accreditation) to RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo. RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo has also been designated the primary Educational Hospital for the Faculty of Dentistry UGM.
