Specialist in Oral Medicine
The Specialist Study Program in Oral Medicine serves as a bridge between Dentistry and General Medicine, specifically studying the relationship between Dentistry and General Medicine with the aim of improving the quality of life in society. This program receives input from general dental practitioner graduates.

Vision
To establish the Specialist Study Program in Oral Medicine as a leading program in diagnosing and managing oral diseases in geriatric patients through an interdisciplinary approach focused on improving quality of life, driven by cultural values and professionalism based on Pancasila.
Mission
- Conducting education in Specialist Study of Oral Medicine to produce graduates with global and innovative perspectives in specialized oral disease services to the community collaboratively based on professionalism and knowledge.
- Developing research in oral disease management to improve community quality of life by involving related disciplines and leveraging scientific and technological advancements for national and societal benefits.
- Organizing community service activities through sustainable cooperation with governmental and non-governmental institutions as well as social organizations to enhance community quality of life in support of the learning process of the Specialist Study of Oral Medicine.

Based on the Professional Dental Specialist Education Standard for Oral Medicine (Indonesian Medical Council Regulation number 102 of 2020), the Specialist Education Program in Oral Medicine is designed to produce professionals who are service providers and managers in oral care in the field of oral disease, clinicians, educator-scientists, counselors, researchers, and innovators. The Specialist Study Program in Oral Medicine at FKG UGM adopts these graduate profiles into 4 profiles as follows:

Demonstrate professional and responsible attitudes in the field of oral disease dentistry and engage in continuous self-development.

Provide specialized oral disease services ethically and legally and develop networks with professional communities and clients.
