A team from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, visited the RSGM LADOKGI TNI AL R.E. Martadinata to continue a paused collaboration (19/01). This refers to the early history of specialist education in Indonesia initiated by LADOKGI TNI AL and FKG UGM.
This collaboration can reactivate alumni networks. Currently, many FKG UGM alumni hold high positions and leadership roles in LADOKGI TNI AL.
In his address, Prof. drg. Suryono stated that this activity is a step toward supporting the health transformation of the Ministry of Health.
"This collaboration is a preliminary step we can take to support the health transformation of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, especially in the field of health worker distribution through specialized dentist education," said Prof. drg. Suryono.
This is a commitment by FKG UGM to implement Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly pillars 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 4 (Quality Education), 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
