To Improve the Quality of Tridharma Activities, FKG UGM and FKG Universitas YARSI Establish Collaboration

On Wednesday (21/12), the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada successfully conducted the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas YARSI. This marks the beginning of a collaborative relationship between the two parties in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service.

The signing ceremony took place offline, attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas YARSI, Prof. Dr. Bambang S. Trenggono, drg, M.Biomed, and the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada, drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D. The signing was witnessed by the Rector of Universitas YARSI, Prof. Dr. Fasli Jalal, Ph.D., along with his team, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. H. Jurnalis Uddin, PAK, who attended virtually.

The cooperation agreement between both parties includes mentoring workshops, research writing, and collaboration on curriculum mentoring and evaluation at FKG YARSI. As a relatively young university, Universitas YARSI has distinguished itself by implementing painless dentistry in its activities.

The Dean of FKG UGM stated, "We welcome this collaboration initiative. Moreover, we are committed to continuous improvement. We are particularly honored to have been entrusted with managing the Dental Learning Center, which is now planned for workshops and hands-on activities in Dentistry. Therefore, this is an opportunity for all of us."

This sentiment was echoed by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas YARSI, who said, "We hope that through our good relationship with the Faculty of Dentistry at UGM, this collaboration will serve as a learning opportunity for us, given UGM's longstanding reputation both nationally and internationally."

The Rector of Universitas YARSI expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate and hoped for a fruitful partnership now and in the future. (-Ber)
