Alma L. Jonarta, M.Kes., titled "The Effect of Gargling with 5% vs. 10% Avocado Leaf Extract Solution (Persea americana Mill) on Epithelial Maturation of Gingival Mucosa in Patients with Moderate Gingivitis” , showed that gargling with avocado leaf extract solution has a positive effect in reducing inflammation and aiding the healing process of inflamed gums.

Natural Tips to Relieve Gum Inflammation Symptoms

  1. Rinse with natural solutions
    Gargling with solutions made from natural ingredients such as avocado leaves, warm salt water, or aloe vera-infused water can help reduce inflammation and soothe gum tissues. Avocado leaf solution, in particular, has been scientifically shown to accelerate the recovery process of inflamed gingival tissue.
  2. Avoid hard and spicy foods
    Hard, spicy, or excessively hot foods can aggravate irritation and delay the healing process.
  3. Increase fluid intake
    Drinking plenty of water helps maintain hydration and supports a faster healing process.
  4. Natural electrolytes
    Consuming juices from fruits like lemon or orange can boost the immune system, speed up healing, and reduce inflammation.
