Requirements for applicants to the Specialist Dentist Education Program, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, AY 2024/2025

The documents and/or data required to register as a participant in the Specialist Dentist Education Program (PPDGS) at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, are as follows:

2Transcript of Bachelor's and Dentist education grades, with the following Cumulative Achievement Index:

≥ 2.50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants who are graduates of accredited A study programs or;


≥ 2.75 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants who are graduates of accredited B study programs, or≥


3.00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants who are graduates of C-accredited study programs.

4Study program accreditation certificate at Bachelor level or equivalent, with the following conditions:
The accreditation of the study program in question is the current accreditation current accreditation and is proven by scanning the accreditation certificate or print screen accreditation from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT)/LAM-PTKes page which is still valid;

Study programs whose accreditation is in the process being extended, are proven by a receipt for submission of the accreditation form to BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes obtained from the relevant higher education institution. The certificate from the appropriate university is not valid;

Applicants who have graduated abroad must have a diploma equivalent decision letter from the Ministry of Education and Culture as a substitute for an accreditation certificate.

The committee only processes accreditation documents that comply with the provisions.

7Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know prospective students in previous education programs, academic supervisors, and/or other people who are considered authorized, such as the applicant's employer. The link to provide recommendations online will be sent by the UM UGM Committee to recommenders via email. Make sure the recommender's email address is valid and active;

Projection of prospective students' desires in participating in the Specialist Program, which contains, among other things, plans for research topics/interests as well as reasons and hopes for joining the chosen program, plans for research topics, and plans after completing college (format can be downloaded here);

b. Thesis research proposal*/essay writing/other special requirements required by the study program.

13Applicants for the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Study Program, at the time of selection, the maximum age of prospective students is 35 years;

  3. Notification of invitation for the student admission selection test for the Specialist Dentist Education Program, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, will be sent to the participant's email account listed in the online registration data.
