On Friday, 5 August, the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), received a visit from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The event was attended by Prof. drg. Sondang Pintauli, Ph.D., Chair of the Doctoral Program (S3) in Dental Medicine at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. drg. Filia Dana Tyasingsih, M. Kes., as the program secretary, accompanied by the program secretariat, Deswika Handayani, SE.
The Dean of FKG UGM and his team welcomed the visit to the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the OECF Building, FKG UGM. It commenced with an opening speech by the Dean, drg. Suryono, SH, MM, Ph.D., and introductions from each side. Subsequently, a group photo was taken, followed by the exchange of mementos.
After the ceremonial proceedings, discussions continued in the discussion room of the Doctoral Program (S3) in Dental Medicine at FKG UGM, led by Prof. Dr. drg. Widowati Siswomihardjo, M.S., Chair of the Program. The discussion focused on curriculum development for the Doctoral Program (S3) in Dental Medicine and the university's tri-dharma responsibilities in education, research, and community service that the S3 program at FKG UGM has undertaken.
This visit is hoped to bring mutual benefits and progress to both institutions.
