Excellent

Graduates of the Pediatric Dentistry Specialist Program at FKG UGM are prepared to compete nationally and globally. The education at the program is aimed at producing graduates capable of being care providers, decision-makers, communicators, community leaders, and managers in the field of pediatric dental and oral health.

UGM values are instilled in the graduates' ethics to nurture individuals with creative thinking and analytical abilities, successful lifelong learners striving for professional excellence, and possessing a strong national character rooted in citizenship.

This aligns with the Faculty and University's targets and programs, aiming to shape the "SANG JUARA (CHAMPION)"character: Santun (Courteous) – Adil (Just) – Nasionalis (Nationalist) – Gembira (Joyful) – Jujur (Honest) – Unggul (Excellent) – Amanah (Trustworthy) – Religius (Religious) – Andal (Competent).

The performance evaluation of the Pediatric Dentistry Education is assessed by the Quality Assurance Unit of FKG UGM through the Academic Internal Quality Audit (AMI) conducted at the end of each semester. Based on the AMI results, the Pediatric Dentistry Specialist Program at FKG UGM must take corrective actions, including revising and completing the Semester Learning Activity Plan (RPKS) to cover appropriate learning outcomes. Hence, there is a need for workshops to develop Outcome-Based Education (OBE) focused RPKS called Semester Learning Plans (RPS).

Additionally, maintaining complete academic supervision logbooks for final tasks is necessary to monitor the thesis writing completion timeframe. Improving graduate quality also involves enhancing educational platforms (expanding networks) and academic innovation (diverse learning methods). Improved collaboration between Dental Hospital and networked hospitals is expected to enhance students' competency/learning outcomes.
