Stretching Exercises Amid Campus Activities

On Thursday (5/9/2024), the Reading Room of the OECF Building was filled with enthusiastic participants eager to enhance their skills in a training session focused on work and equal opportunities.

The event, which ran from 08:00 to noon, aimed to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in the job market. However, as time passed, the energy in the room began to wane.

After four hours of intense discussion and presentations, participants appeared tired and less motivated. Recognizing the need for a morale boost, the Vice Dean 3 requested the organizing committee to play a song. The participants were curious about what song would be chosen and were surprised when the selected tune was the stretching song “Denta Sehat!”

The atmosphere in the room immediately transformed as cheerful music filled the space. The organizing committee, along with Mrs. WD 3, led the participants in a seated stretching routine.

This initiative served not only as a fun break but also as a strategic step to promote well-being and engagement among participants. The seated stretching routine was designed to alleviate physical tension from prolonged sitting, ensuring everyone could return to the training refreshed and ready to learn.

The external speakers invited to share their expertise were pleasantly surprised and delighted by this spontaneous activity. For many of them, it was a new experience to participate in light yet beneficial exercises during a professional training session. They expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that it fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants.

After the stretching session, participants returned to their seats with renewed energy and focus. The training resumed, and discussions became more dynamic, with participants actively engaging and sharing their thoughts.

This shift in energy highlighted the importance of integrating well-being practices into professional development, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) promoting decent work and economic growth.

The event also emphasized the importance of equal opportunities in the workplace. By creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable participating, this training aimed to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. The organizers were committed to ensuring that all participants had access to the resources and support they needed to succeed in their careers.

Furthermore, the training underscored the significance of affordable energy solutions in the context of employment. As discussions progressed, participants explored how access to affordable energy could enhance productivity and create job opportunities across various sectors. The connection between energy access and job opportunities is crucial for sustainable development.

In conclusion, the stretching session led by Mrs. WD 3 and the organizing committee served as a refreshing reminder of the importance of well-being in professional settings. It not only revived the participants' spirits but also fostered a collaborative spirit that enhanced the overall training experience.

As the event concluded, participants left with valuable insights and renewed enthusiasm, ready to apply what they had learned in their respective fields. This supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs goal 3 Good Health and Well-being and SDGs goal 4 Quality Education.
