Candidates who have passed the Closed Exam are allowed to participate in the Doctoral Convocation simultaneously with the Graduate Program Convocation at UGM without having to take the Open Exam, under the following conditions:

1. Either partially or entirely, the dissertation has been published in two accredited national scientific journals or international scientific journals/proceedings of international seminars that are indexed.
2. At least one month before the graduation date, a Yudisium meeting is held attended by the Examining Team, Administrators, and chaired by the Dean/Head of the Doctoral Program to determine the graduation predicate.
3. The doctoral diploma is awarded during the graduation ceremony.
4. For doctoral candidates recommended for the Open Exam, the graduation is held during the Open Exam.
