The Dental Profession Program at the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has been honored with the 2024 PDDikti Award as the Best Professional Study Program at UGM. The award was announced during the UGM Outstanding Staff Awards Night 2024, held at Graha Sabha Pramana on 13 November 2024.
Dr. drg. Rurie Ratna Shantiningsih, MDSc., Head of the Dental Profession Program, expressed her gratitude and pride for this achievement. “We are delighted to be recognized as the best professional study program at UGM. This accomplishment results from the hard work and collaboration of our exceptional team, including lecturers and academic staff,” she stated. Drg. Rurie emphasized the importance of teamwork and faculty leadership support in achieving this milestone.
The PDDikti Award is expected to have a positive impact on the Dental Profession Program at FKG UGM. Drg. Rurie noted that this recognition serves as motivation to maintain consistency in academic and administrative governance. “This award strengthens our position as one of UGM’s leading study programs,” she remarked.
With key assessment criteria focusing on accuracy in PDDikti data reporting, the award underscores the program’s commitment to maintaining the quality and precision of academic data. It also serves as a reminder to uphold high educational standards at FKG UGM.
This achievement is particularly significant as the Dental Profession Program ranked first among 13 professional study programs at UGM. Evaluation indicators included improvements in higher education data reporting and timeliness in submitting data to PDDikti (Higher Education Database). The success of this program reflects the collaborative efforts of FKG UGM in delivering high-quality education that meets national standards while ensuring reliable and transparent academic data management.
