Residents of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), once again achieved remarkable accomplishments during the 3 Minutes Pitch Competition Dies Natalis FKG UGM serta 3 Minutes Pitch Competition of the FKG UGM Anniversary Celebration as well as the Scientific Competition Award & Gathering Night at the 19th International Indonesian Pediatric Dentistry Association Conference (iiPDAC 19), held on May 1–2, 2026, in Makassar.
In the 3 Minutes Pitch Competition, drg. Endytiastuti, M.DSc., earned the position of 1st Runner-Up in the Original Research category, while drg. Aulia Wahyu Jayanti, M.DSc., achieved 2nd Runner-Up in the same category. Meanwhile, drg. Fitri Rahmawati secured 2nd Runner-Up in the Case Report category. In the Systematic Review category, drg. Arya Adiningrat, Ph.D., became the Winner, drg. Rahma Syarafina Maharani, M.M., earned 3rd Runner-Up, and drg. Ichfazh Adi Setya achieved 4th Runner-Up.
Not only in scientific fields, the residents’ creativity and teamwork were also reflected in non-academic activities. The 2025 Pediatric Dentistry resident cohort successfully won the Best Property Tooth Fairy Musical award and achieved 2nd Place in the Tabola Bale Dance competition during the 19th International Indonesian Pediatric Dentistry Association Conference.
These achievements serve as tangible evidence of the residents’ dedication, hard work, and collaborative spirit in advancing knowledge and skills in pediatric dentistry. It is hoped that these accomplishments will continue motivating the entire FKG UGM academic community to create, innovate, and contribute their best efforts for the nation.
