During the two-day event, a combined team of lecturers, alumni, doctoral and master’s students from FKG UGM, as well as educational staff, provided comprehensive dental health services, ranging from education to direct examinations.
The program aimed to enhance community access to information and dental health services, particularly for employees and tea pickers who previously lacked easy access to dental health facilities. The participants showed high enthusiasm, considering the limited access to dental health services in the vicinity of the company.
This initiative not only addresses current dental issues but also aims to instill awareness about the importance of routine dental care, with the hope of reducing the risk of dental diseases and improving the long-term quality of life for the community.
Hal tersebut mendukung Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) khususnya pada tujuan ke-3 (Kesehatan Yang Baik dan Kesejahteraan), tujuan ke-16 (Keadilan dan Kelembagaan Yang Kuat), dan tujuan ke-17 (Kemitraan Untuk Mencapai Tujuan).
