Registration for the Specialist Dentist Education Program FKG UGM Odd Semester AY 2020/2021

Following are the latest changes to the registration agenda for new students for the Specialist Dentist Study Program, Faculty of Dentistry UGM for the 2020/2021 academic year

Implementation

Registration online and upload documents 13 February –2 July 2020
Payment of registration fees According to the schedule stated in each payment code.
Acceptance of other documents (desire projections and draft proposals/essays) in the destination Study Program 13 February –15 July 2020
Implementation of substance tests by the target Study Program (if any) until 18 July 2020
Announcement of selection results 23 July 2020 at 22.00 WIB
Online registration for those accepted 23 – 27 July 2020
Announcement of registration verification results and the amount of Single Tuition Fee (UKT) 28 July 2020
UKT payment period 28-30 July 2020
Printing Proof of Registration (on account) 3 August 2020 starting at 22.00 WIB
Pick up coat and photo for Student Identity Card (KTM) according to their respective schedules
Start academic activities Will be announced later

 

Requirements for applicants for the Specialist Dentist Education Program FKG UGM 2020/2021

The documents and/or data required to register as a participant in the Specialist Dentist Education Program (PPDGS) at the Faculty of Dentistry UGM are as follows:

2. Transcript of Bachelor's and Dentist Profession grades, with the following conditions:

  1. ≥ 2.50 on a scale of 4 or equivalent for applicants who are graduates of accredited A study programs or;
  2. 2. ≥ 2.75 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who are graduates of accredited B study programs, or;
  3. 3. ≥ 3.00 on a scale of 4 or equivalent, for applicants who are graduates of accredited C study programs.

3. Curriculum Vitae 2 copies photocopy
4. Study program accreditation certificate at Bachelor level or equivalent, with the following conditions:

  1. The accreditation of the study program in question is the current accreditation current accreditation and is proven by scanning the accreditation certificate or print screen accreditation from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT)/LAM-PTKes page which is still valid;
  2. Study programs whose accreditation is in the process being extended, are proven by a receipt for submission of the accreditation form to BAN-PT/LAM-PTKes obtained from the relevant higher education institution. The certificate from the appropriate university is not valid;

5. Academic potential test result certificate that is still valid (maximum 2 years from the date the certificate was issued). The committee only accepts the results of academic potential tests:

6. Certificate of English proficiency test results that are still valid (maximum 2 years from the date the certificate was issued). The committee only accepts the results of the English language proficiency test

7. Confidential recommendations from 2 (two) people who know the applicant at a previous level of education, for example Academic Supervisors, other lecturers or the applicant's employer. The link to provide recommendations online will be sent by the UM UGM Committee to recommenders via email. Make sure the recommender's email address is a valid and active email address;
8. a. Projection of prospective students' desires in participating in the Specialist Program which contains, among other things, plans for research topics/interests as well as reasons and hopes for joining the chosen program, plans for research topics, and plans after completing college (format can be downloaded here);

b. Thesis research proposal/essay writing/other special requirements required by the study program do not need to be uploaded but sent directly to the destination study program accompanied by a photocopy of proof of registration.

9. Study permit/assignment letter from the workplace agency for applicants who are already working (format can be downloaded here); PDF softcopy

10. Applicants for the Orthodontics Study Program, Dental Conservation Study Program, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Study Program have at least one year of clinical work experience as proven by a certificate from the place of work; 2 copies photocopy
11. Applicants for the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Study Program, at the time of selection the maximum age of prospective students is 35 years
12. Healthy Body Certificate PDF softcopy 2 copies photocopy

  2. Registration documents are made in 2 (two) copies by prospective participants, submitted to the PPDGS FKG UGM secretariat
