As part of the inauguration ceremony for new dentists, the Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) highlighted a special moment by presenting several prestigious awards. These awards serve as a form of appreciation for graduates who demonstrated outstanding dedication and achievements throughout their academic journey.
drg. Margareta Rinastiti, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.KG(K)—affectionately known as drg. Tita—as the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, conveyed that every graduate holds unique strengths and exceptional potential.
“We believe each of you is unique and full of potential. You came to FKG UGM as complete individuals raised with love,” she expressed.
Dentistry Awards 2025
Based on a rigorous selection process that considered academic accomplishments, scientific publications, national and international competitions, as well as non-academic achievements, three recipients of the Dentistry Awards were announced:
First Place: drg. Aini Hasibah Ningtyas
Second Place: drg. Emmanuela Widya Kristianti
Third Place: drg. Salsabiila Aulia Ramadhani
Additional Achievement: Top 10 in National Competency Examination
In addition to the Dentistry Awards, recognition was also given to a graduate who excelled at the national level. drg. Sri Roka’afin Minhatun Maula achieved a position in the Top 10 of the National Dental Professional Competency Examination (UKMP2DG)..
Message to the Graduates
drg. Tita advised all award recipients and newly inaugurated dentists to remain humble, continue to pursue lifelong learning, and remain open to various career pathways, including becoming lecturers. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining love for the alma mater and carrying forward the spirit of contributing to society and the nation.
The awarding moment concluded the inauguration ceremony with deep meaning, marking not only an ending but also the beginning of a new journey for the young dentists to serve and make a wider impact.
