Prof. drg. Supriatno, M.Kes., M.D.Sc., Ph.D. is a senior lecturer at the Department of Oral Medicine who studies and deepens in oral cancer focused on head and neck cancer gene therapy. The PostDoc education program was carried out in the Department of Therapeutic Regulation for Oral Tumor Institute of Health Biosciences, University of Tokushima, Japan, and the PhD degree was obtained from the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Oncology, School of Dentistry, University of Tokushima, Japan. Advanced clinical training in oral maxillofacial surgery and oncology was administered in the Second Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Tokushima Hospital, from 2001-2003. Teaching and research assistance for these departments was provided from 2002 to 2004.
Supriatno was born 57 years ago in Bandung City, married with three sons, and works at the Faculty of Dentistry UGM. He actively conducts research focusing on head and neck (including oral) cancer gene therapy and often obtains research grants from the Government. The research awards for being the best researcher were received from various universities (state and private universities) and industries. Many indexed international publications and accredited national publications have been widely implemented.
Besides teaching at the Department of Oral Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, he also teaches at other state and private universities. Professional experiences in performing the task of “Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi'' including being a team of LPPM Research Considerations of Gadjah Mada University, Research manager at the Faculty of Dentistry UGM, Head of integrated research laboratory, Panelist team or reviewer in RISBIN IPTEKDOK project at the Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia. Panelist team (international certificate) or certified internal research grant reviewer at the Ministry of Research and Technology of Higher Education, a dentist at Universitas Gadjah Mada Hospital and PKU-Muhammadiyah Hospital, Karanganyar. Finally, he serves as an International Journal of Dental Research (JDR), the Journal of Dental of Oral Hygiene (JDOH), the Malaysian Journal of Medical Health Science, and other reputable international journal reviewers.
