Prof. Dr. drg. Iwa Sutardjo RS., SU., Sp.KGA, Subsp. KKA (K) is a faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), Yogyakarta. He obtained his dentist profession (drg) degree in 1976, his Master’s degree from UGM in 1982, the Akta Lima certification from UGM in 1983, his Pediatric Dentistry Specialist degree from FKG UGM in 1989, his Doctorate from the Graduate School of Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung in 1993, and his Specialist Consultant certification in 2004. His area of expertise is Pediatric Craniofacial Complexes.

He has presented various research studies and grants at national and international pediatric dentistry scientific seminars and has been published in reputable national and international indexed scientific journals. In addition to fulfilling the duties of a university lecturer (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), he holds structural positions within higher education and professional organizations. Prof. Iwa served as Dean of FKG UGM from 2008 to 2012, Chair of the Pediatric Dentistry Study Program from 2017 to 2019, and is a board member and member of the Sleman branch of the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI), a member of the PDGI Yogyakarta Regional Coordination, and a board member and member of the Indonesian Society of Pediatric Dentistry (IDGAI) for the Central Java and Yogyakarta regions. 

With his extensive experience in academia and professional organizations, Prof. Iwa is frequently invited to speak at national scientific seminars and hands-on workshops. He also actively supports pediatric dentistry education at other institutions, serving as a visiting lecturer at FKG UNISULA, FKG Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, and FKG Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Additionally, he is involved in teaching pediatric dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Muhammadiyah, and FKG Universitas Hasanudin.
