drg. Yosaphat Bayu Rosanto, Sp.B.M.M., Subsp. I.D.M.(K), commonly referred to as drg. Yosi, is a lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM). He graduated as a Dentist in 2013 and completed his specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently, drg. Yosi serves as a consultant in the field of Dental Implants and Maxillofacial Surgery.
His expertise in dental implants and maxillofacial surgery is evidenced by his invitations to be a speaker at various dental seminars. Some of these include seminars organized by PDGI with topics such as "Get the Facts about Dental Implants: Risks and Advantages" in 2023, "Improving the Smile of Patients with Surgery," and "Dental Implant Allergy and Its Clinical Significance" in 2022. Additionally, he guided Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residents to achieve third place in the Clinical Case Report Contest 2021 at the Chosun University Dental Hospital International Conference.
drg. Yosi is keenly interested in research in dental implants, maxillofacial surgery, and orthognathic surgery. Furthermore, he has developed natural materials such as snail mucus (Achatina fulica) to expedite wound healing. This research has been published in the top-tier Q1 SCOPUS-indexed international journal F1000 Research.
He is the Head of the Community Service Unit at FKG UGM and is actively involved in the Indonesian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (PABMI). In addition to his teaching role, drg. Yosi practices as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at RSGM Prof. Soedomo UGM, RS Hermina Yogya, and RS Siloam Yogyakarta.
