drg. Rr. Paramita Noviasari, Sp. Ort. (K)-DDTK, known familiarly as drg. Mita, is a faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Yogyakarta. Born in Jombang on 10 November 1986, she resides in Sleman, Yogyakarta. She enjoys gardening and traveling; her motto is "Dream big, work hard."
Her background includes elementary education at SDN Kepanjen 2 Jombang, middle school at SMP Negeri 2 Jombang, and high school at SMA Negeri 2 Jombang. She then pursued her undergraduate and dentist profession degrees at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, from 2005 to 2011. She obtained her specialist degree in Orthodontics from the same faculty in 2013. Additionally, she completed her subspecialty consultant education in Dento-Craniofacial Growth and Development (DDTK) in 2021 at Universitas Indonesia. She is pursuing her PhD in Dental Sciences at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
drg. Mita's research interests include orthodontic tooth movement, biomechanics in orthodontics, and science and technology clusters. She has participated in various training programs and certifications related to orthodontics, including Basic Civil Service Training Batch IV, Innovative Learning Ecosystem Training, Career Management Training for Lecturers, Basic Training for New Lecturers in 2020, and numerous other courses related to orthodontics and dental health.
drg. Mita is also actively involved in community service. She was an educator during the National Dental Health Month (BKGN) 2023 at FKG UGM on 12 September 2023. and She participated in community service projects with PT Kaltim Methanol Industri (PT KMI) Orthodontics in 2023. Then in 2022 following Community Service in the framework of the National Dental Health Month 2022 as an Online Dental Health Consultation Organizer. She has published recent publications, in the form of a journal entitled Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Scar Contracture Effects on Post-Expansion Stability of The Maxilla Following Rapid Maxillary Expansion on Unilateral Cleft Lip Palate pada tahun 2023. Her intellectual contributions also include studies on Arch Dimension In Javanese And The Correlation With Sum Of Incisor Crown Width dan Orthodontic Treatment for Patients with Cleft Lip and Palate.
