Dr. drg. Rezmelia Sari, MSc., Sp.Perio. Subsp. R.P.I.D. (K) adalah salah satu staf di Departemen Periodonsia, Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) Yogyakarta. Pendidikan S1 dan profesi Dokter Gigi ditempuh di FKG UGM sedangkan jenjang S2 di Ilmu Kedokteran dan Biomedis peminatan Kedokteran Molekuler (IKD Biomedis) Fakultas Kedokteran, Kesehatan Masyarakat dan Keperawatan (FKKMK) UGM. Gelar Spesialis Periodonsia (gusi dan jaringan sekitar gigi lainnya) diperoleh dari Program Studi Spesialis Periodonsia FKG UGM dengan kepakaran (Subspesialis) di bidang Rekonstruksi Periodontal dan Implan Dental.
In addition to her educational achievements, drg. Rezmelia, also known as drg. Ayi, is actively involved in research and community service. Her research interests include periodontal regeneration and the identification of biomolecular markers in soft tissue post-periodontal surgery using blood concentrates (Platelet-rich Fibrin). Several of her research studies and case reports have been published in reputable national and international journals and presented at national and international scientific seminars.
Among her accolades are the First Prize at the Asian Pacific Society of Periodontology (APSP) Scientific Meeting in Thailand in 2022 and the First Prize at the Contemporary Periodontics Seminar in 2023. Since 2021, drg. Rezmelia has pursued doctoral studies in the Doctoral Program in Dental Science at UGM, focusing on Interdental Papilla Regeneration. Gardening and cooking are her hobbies, which she enjoys in her spare time while fulfilling the Tridharma of Higher Education.
