drg. Anrizandy Narwidina, M.DSc, Sp.KGA, Ph.D., is a faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) Yogyakarta. She obtained her dentist profession education (drg.) degree in 2013, Master of Dental Science (M.DSc) with a thesis on neurocognitive studies in mastication and brain development in children in 2015, and Pediatric Dentistry Specialist (Sp.KGA) with a thesis on temporomandibular joint disorders in children in 2019. In 2023, she completed her Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Oral Sciences, Pediatric Dentistry, Tokushima University, Japan.

During her Ph.D. studies, drg. Narwidina delved into two areas of Pediatric Dentistry research: basic studies involving genomic engineering in children's dental development and the identification of new functional molecules, collaborating with the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Pediatric Dentistry, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan; and clinical studies including respiratory-orthodontic studies in children's teeth and orofacial habits. She focuses on deepening her understanding of these topics as part of her specialized research interest (Sp-2) and establishing downstream collaborations with partners. She has built numerous collaborations with foreign industry partners during her time in Japan, both in the private and government sectors.

drg. Narwidina has presented various research studies, industry collaborations, and research grants at national and international pediatric dentistry scientific seminars and has been published in reputable international indexed scientific journals. She has further enriched her knowledge through non-formal education, including International Training Courses on stomatognathic function disorders and temporomandibular joint disorders in children and adolescents, precision medicine applied to children's dental development therapy, digital technology, clinical orofacial habit disorders in children, and Research-Writing Accelerating KAKENHI-Scientist Program.

She has received several awards nationally and internationally, such as the National Scientific Award from the Indonesian Society of Pediatric Dentistry for Literature Review (2020) and the Original Article (2023) on "Pediatric Craniofacial Complexes." Under her guidance, the Pediatric Dentistry Specialist Program also achieved first place in the Scientific Award (Indonesian Society of Pediatric Dentistry) for Literature Review (2024).

Internationally, she has received the President’s Award and International Recognition from Tokushima University during her doctoral graduation in 2023, the Young Researcher Award (2022), Science Communicators (2022, 2023) in various international scientific competitions, Travel Award from the Australian Developmental Genomics (2023), Award from the Graduate School of Oral Sciences in Japan (2022), LION Gold Grant Award (Oral Health in Children) in Japan (2021), and Winner of Interim Presentation of Graduate School (2021). She maintains her international dental research network with organizations such as the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM), Center on the Developing Child-Harvard University, Breathing Center of Stanford University, Australian Education of Developmental Genomics, and Cancer Institute of Stony Brook University-New York.

In addition to her academic roles, she holds structural positions within higher education and professional organizations. She currently serves as the Head of Cooperation and International Affairs at the Faculty of Dentistry UGM (2024-present), Ethics and Research Commission of FKG UGM (2024-present), Editor of the Clinical Dental Science Magazine at FKG UGM (2023-present), Central Board Member of the Indonesian Society of Pediatric Dentistry for Foreign Cooperation (2023-2028), and Regional Board Member of DIY-Central Java, Indonesian Society of Pediatric Dentistry for Foreign Cooperation (2023-2028).

With her vast experience in academia and organizational roles, drg. Narwidina is frequently invited as a speaker at scientific seminars and national events. She is also active as a resource person in various dental health education programs for the general public. She has a broad network and journalistic experience, including founding the digital education platform for children's dental literacy, Childenthink. Despite her busy schedule, she still finds time for reading and writing. One of her upcoming books is titled "Kelainan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut pada Anak," and it will be published in several international publications.
