Budi Rodestawati, S.Kp.G., M.P.H., is a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) in 2021 and joined the Department of Oral Biology in 2024. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Nursing (S.Kp.G) from FKG UGM in 2013. She obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Behavior and Health Promotion from the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FKKMK) UGM in 2019.
She actively engages in the Tri Dharma of Education. In 2022, she developed learning innovations through a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) grant from DKIA UGM with a team of FKG UGM lecturers. In 2023, she was actively involved in community service activities based on the Adopted Village Program through the Community Service Grant titled "Optimizing Community Roles Through the Development of Community Resource Health Efforts (UKBM) Towards Self-Reliant Alert Villages," alongside an interdisciplinary team at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
She actively conducts research and has published scholarly articles in the field. Her research interests are focused on the relationship between oral health behavior factors and oral/systemic conditions, with related studies on oral health behavior, oral health interventions in health promotion, oral hygiene, and oral health outcomes in vulnerable populations such as older people, preschool children, and school-aged children.
Budi Rodestawati is also actively involved in various health promotion activities within the university environment. She has been the Head of the Hospital Health Promotion Team (PKRS) at RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo since 2020. Additionally, she is a member of the Health Promoting University (HPU) Smile Team at FKG UGM in the Mental Health Division. Alongside the HPU team, she actively promotes mental health within the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
