Students from the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) achieved outstanding results in the 31st National Competency Exam for Specialist Dental Conservation, held on 12-13 July 2024, at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor. This exam involved three major evaluation types: a theoretical test (CBT), a skills test (OSCE), and a case test (SOCA).
In the exam, drg. Rakhmalita Arlini, Sp.KG, from UGM, secured 8th place, while drg. Endi Hanifah Wardhani, Sp.KG, ranked 10th. This achievement highlights the academic excellence and high competency standards of dental conservation specialists from UGM.
“This accomplishment reflects the quality of education and training provided at Universitas Gadjah Mada. We are very proud of our students’ achievements in this competency exam,” said Dr. Drg. Yulita Kristanti, M.Kes., Sp.KG(K), Head of the Department of Dental Conservation at UGM’s Faculty of Dentistry.
This competency exam supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), focusing on the assessment and assurance of competency standards in dental education, as well as SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by evaluating safe and effective professional practice. This success is a testament to UGM’s commitment to producing competent and professional specialist dentists.
