Printed Journal Collection of the FKG UGM Library

The Library of the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has launched a collection of printed journals. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, which focuses on education in developing countries and ensuring affordable access to quality educational materials.

The FKG UGM Library boasts a comprehensive and up-to-date collection of printed journals covering various topics in dentistry. This collection is not only a valuable resource for students and lecturers but also serves as an essential reference for researchers seeking the latest developments in dentistry. The library's commitment to providing access to quality educational materials is a significant step in promoting dental education in Indonesia.

Each shelf in the library is carefully organized, displaying clear information about the available journals. This user-friendly approach enables readers to quickly identify the references they need, facilitating a more efficient research process. By streamlining access to these resources, the FKG UGM Library helps students and researchers stay connected with the latest literature and enhances their understanding of dental practices.

The importance of accessible educational resources cannot be overstated, especially in developing countries where access to information may be limited. The FKG UGM Library's initiative to maintain a strong collection of printed journals demonstrates its dedication to fostering a learning and research environment. This effort aligns with the SDGs’ goal of ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all.

Additionally, the library collection is regularly updated to include the latest publications in dentistry. The commitment to keeping the collection current ensures that students and researchers have access to the most relevant information. By providing affordable access to these resources, the library plays a crucial role in bridging the knowledge gap in dental education.

Apart from printed journals, the library also offers various services to assist users in navigating the collection. Librarians are available to provide guidance on how to search for and utilize available resources effectively. This support is essential in helping students and researchers maximize the use of the library's offerings.

As the world continues to evolve, the need for accessible and affordable educational resources becomes increasingly important. The FKG UGM Library’s printed journal collection is an example of how institutions can take proactive steps to support education in developing countries.
