The Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Gadjah Mada, consisting of: drg. Mohammad Fadyl Yunizar, MPH., Ph.D., Dr. drg. Sri Budi Barunawati, M.Kes., Sp.Pros.(K), drg. Intan Ruspita, M.Kes., PhD., Sp.Pros. Sub.Sp.OGST(K), and drg. Nadya Kurnia Putri, attended the event organized by Medika Cendekia Solution, Chosun University Dental Hospital, and G1O IDEA on 24 August 2025 in Jakarta.
The implant seminar, titled One Day Implant Prosthodontics Masterclass , was organized by Medika Cendekia Solution in collaboration with Chosun University Dental Hospital and G1O IDEA. This program was held to develop comprehensive education and training in advanced prosthodontics with a primary focus on dental implant care.
The program aimed to equip participants with the latest knowledge and skills in implant care, covering case diagnosis, treatment planning, implant selection, materials, impression techniques, as well as potential complications. The program also featured a dental exhibition, particularly showcasing materials and instruments needed for dental implant fabrication.
The class was delivered by Prof. Meekyoung Son, a prosthodontist from South Korea. The seminar consisted of four major topics related to implant care. The event was attended by prosthodontics, periodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery specialists, as well as resident students from across Indonesia. The subject matter was aligned with the latest developments in implant technology in dentistry, particularly in the field of prosthodontics.
The purpose of this activity was to expand lecturers’ knowledge of advancements in science and technology, particularly in prosthodontics and dental implants, which can support successful prosthodontic treatments.
It also aimed to realize better healthcare services in dentistry, especially implant care, both conventional and digital dentistry , by applying a multidisciplinary approach in theoretical and clinical practice.
