On Sunday (17/7/2022), the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada held a Hands-On activity themed "Successful Management of Class 2 and 4 Composite Restoration." This event occurred at the Dental Learning Center (DLC) of FKG UGM. The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at UGM, drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D., officially opened the event. Following the opening, the Chair of the Ad Hoc DLC, drg. Heni Susilowati, M.Kes., Ph.D., provided information about the Dental Learning Center.
At this moment, Dentistry Skill Development Center (DSDC) team as the organizers of this Hands-On event expressed that this activity serves as the initial gateway for learning and activities at the Dental Learning Center. "Moreover, this is the first time such an event has been held, and it will be conducted again with different themes," added the Chair of the Ad Hoc DLC.
The event was designed with a Hands-On Approach, encouraging participants to actively engage in the activities and draw conclusions based on their experiences. Forty-eight participants attended the event, receiving Flowable Composite IvoclarFlowable Composite Ivoclar facilities. Each class was accompanied by Dr. drg. Raphael Tri Endra Untara, M.Kes., Sp.KG(K) at different times. The Hands-On activity concluded with a discussing of the learning processes throughout the day.
