Yogyakarta, 14 November 2025 – FKG Universitas Trisakti, in collaboration with the Indonesian Dental Radiology Professional Association (IKRG) for the 2025–2030 period, the Dental Radiology Study Program of UPM, and the Interdisciplinary Dentistry Skills Development Center (IDS DC), successfully organized an Advanced Cone Beam CT Course for dental radiology specialists in Indonesia. The event received high enthusiasm from participants and ran from morning to afternoon, covering materials ranging from implant planning to the fabrication of surgical guides for both simple and complex cases.
The Chair of PP IKRG 2025–2030, Dr. Novo Lubis, stated that the course aimed to enhance the practical skills of radiologists to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving digital dentistry market. “Clinicians now expect imaging and digital planning support from us, including for complex implant cases and endodontic treatments. This advanced course prepares radiologists to face these challenges,” said Dr. Novo.
During the discussion session, Dr. Novo added that current technologies are already capable of meeting market needs, even though future innovations cannot be fully predicted. “The technological foundation is already sufficient; what is needed now is the creativity of participants to process and further develop these technologies,” he added.
The course also addressed plans for more advanced materials to be delivered on subsequent days, ensuring that participants gain in-depth understanding and are able to apply digital workflows in dental radiology practice.
This activity reflects the commitment of Universitas Trisakti, IKRG, RKG UPM, and IDS DC to advancing dental radiology competence in Indonesia through innovation, collaboration, and professional skill development.
