The Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) showcased five research products by its lecturers at the Intellectual Property Expo 2024, held on 12-13 June 2024, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta.
The Intellectual Property Expo 2024, organized by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, promotes the public's works and raises awareness about the importance of intellectual property rights.
"Five research products from FKG UGM exhibited at the event have already been patented," stated Dr. Trianna Wahyu Utami, Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation.
She mentioned that the five showcased research products are Berwydent, Cinnacare, Murphy, Ceraspon, and Gamacha.
Drg. Ananto Ali Alhasyimi, Head of the Research Unit at FKG UGM, expressed his hope that FKG UGM's participation in the expo would enhance its recognition and attract potential partners for collaboration.
The Faculty of Dentistry at UGM continuously strives to encourage its lecturers to transform their research findings into products, secure patents, and advance these products to the market.
This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 4, "Quality Education," SDG number 9, "Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure," and SDG number 17, "Partnerships to Achieve the Goal."
