The Workshop The 2026 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), officially commenced on Monday (27 July) with opening remarks from Dr. drg. Anindya Hapsari, Sp.KGA, Chair of the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit, who also served as the event moderator. In her opening remarks, she welcomed faculty leaders and participants while emphasizing the importance of the workshop as a forum for strengthening coordination and establishing a shared understanding of the procedures for preparing the faculty's quality assurance documents.
The workshop continued with strategic remarks from Dean of FKG UGM, Prof. drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D., followed by technical presentations from representatives of UGM's University Quality Assurance and Reputation Unit (SPMRU): Rosi Setyarini, S.H., M.Sc., Head of the University Quality Assurance Team, together with Rokhib Muhammad Puja, S.Si., M.Sc., M.C.S., and Adi Satya, S.I.P.
"We are making the most of this workshop so that the preparation of LKPS and EDPS documents at both the faculty and study program levels can be completed simultaneously. With direct guidance from the SPMRU team, we can ensure that financial, human resource, and quality indicator data are fully coordinated and nothing is overlooked," said Dr. Anindya Hapsari.
"I have always emphasized that quality assurance should become part of our daily culture, not merely a burden before accreditation. We should not become so occupied with internal matters that we overlook the rapidly changing external environment. Once our systems and data are fully integrated in real time, we will always be prepared whenever assessors visit." Dean Prof. Suryono emphasized that quality assurance should become an integral part of everyday academic practice rather than an activity carried out only before accreditation.
The SPMRU team introduced the updated quality assurance system, now centralized through the apps.ugm.ac.id/edps portal. The new platform allows study programs to manage data independently without relying on Simaster login credentials. In addition, findings from previous Internal Quality Audits are now automatically incorporated into the Follow-up Action Plan (RTL) module, while the submission of supporting evidence links within the LKPS has been redesigned to improve data synchronization.
"The 2026 EDPS application is designed to function as a centralized data steward by connecting directly to data sources within each study program. Our goal is to simplify data harmonization and Follow-up Action Plan preparation while ensuring greater accuracy and eliminating redundant data entry," explained Rosi Setyarini.
Following the technical presentations, participants immediately began hands-on practice by exploring the EDPS platform and uploading supporting documents independently. The practical session was facilitated by Dr. Anindya Hapsari to ensure that any technical issues encountered by study programs or faculty units could be addressed directly during the workshop.
This intensive effort reflects FKG UGM's commitment to achieving not only administrative compliance but also systemic excellence. With well-organized data, stronger integration across academic units, and comprehensive technical support from the university, FKG UGM is well prepared to undertake the 2026 Internal Quality Audit with confidence while maintaining the highest standards of dental education in Indonesia.
