As an educational institution, Universitas Gadjah Mada is committed to providing the best quality educational services. The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) also applies the same principle in enhancing educational quality, not only for students but also for all staff members. FKG UGM once again demonstrates its commitment through the training program for employee competency development plans on 28 August 2024.
This training is an essential part of FKG UGM's efforts to comply with the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia's Decree Number 310/M/2021. During this event, FKG UGM staff were provided with guidance on career management systems through applications integrated with the Learning Management System (LMS), Knowledge Management System (KMS), and Human Resource Management Information System. The training aims to enable each employee to independently develop their competency development plan and discuss it with their verifier or group leader regarding their learning plans for the next five years (TNA). Once agreed upon, these plans will be verified and implemented.
With a focus on ongoing training, leadership skill development, performance evaluation, research support, as well as career planning and recognition, FKG UGM hopes to continuously improve the quality of education and services in the field of dentistry. This training is not merely a formality but a concrete step to ensure that employees are prepared to face future developments and challenges in their professions.
Through this initiative, FKG UGM also supports sustainable development programs, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), by encouraging continuous skill development for staff, as well as SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), which focuses on enhancing employee capacity to create a productive and competitive work environment.
