The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), and PT ICT Worldwide Indonesia have entered into a partnership to organize advanced competency training in dental implantology. The cooperation agreement was signed by Prof. Drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D., Dean of FKG UGM, and Choi Youngjin, Director of PT ICT Worldwide Indonesia, at the OECF Building, First Floor, on Monday (25 June).
The one-year collaboration aims to enhance dentists' knowledge, practical skills, and clinical competencies. In particular, the program is designed to equip participants with comprehensive expertise in providing implant-supported prosthodontic treatment.
Dean Suryono welcomed the partnership and expressed his hope that the agreement would soon be translated into concrete initiatives. He noted that implant-related competencies have already begun to be incorporated into the undergraduate dental curriculum. "We hope this agreement will soon be implemented through tangible activities rather than remaining merely a written agreement," he said.
He further explained that structured training programs facilitated by the industry partner would enable dentists to continuously improve their practical skills, supporting the faculty's commitment to enhancing educational quality and producing graduates capable of meeting society's healthcare needs.
Meanwhile, Choi Youngjin, Director of PT ICT Worldwide Indonesia, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to collaborate with UGM, which he described as one of Indonesia's leading universities. He reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting educational initiatives that promote knowledge sharing and advances in dental implant technology. "We are fully committed to supporting this educational program so that knowledge and technological advancements in dental implantology can continue to expand throughout Indonesia," he stated.

As an initial implementation of the partnership, PT ICT Worldwide Indonesia immediately supported the Structured Scientific Implant Training Program by providing facilities and medical equipment for live surgery sessions conducted from 22 to 28 June 2026.
