Two lecturers from the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada had the honor of being invited as guest speakers at the Postgraduate Research Day 2024, held at Universiti Sains Malaysia Health Campus on Tuesday (2 July) and Wednesday (3 July).
The invited lecturers were drg. Sri Kuswandari, Sp.KGA(K)., Ph.D. from the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and drg. Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D. from the Department of Biomedical Sciences, commonly known as drg. Kus and drg. Ruslin.
During the event, drg. Kus presented on "Impact of Space Maintainers on Oral Development and Growth / Interceptive Orthodontics" during the first day's Sharing Session, while drg. Ruslin spoke on "Calcium phosphate based apatite cement in dentistry – sharing experience" during the second day’s session.
Postgraduate Research Day (PGRD) 2024 is a platform for doctoral students from various medical and health disciplines. Organized by the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) as part of the RACDS International Committee’s 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting, the event took place at the School of Dental Sciences
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Health Campus, Kubang Kerian. This year’s theme was “Research for Health Sustainability,” with the goal of fostering agreements on research exchange and recent breakthroughs.
The invitation of drg. Kus and drg. Ruslin is a point of pride for FKG UGM.
