Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) proudly announces that drg. Adella Syvia Maharani, MDSc., Sp.Pros, represented Indonesia at the prestigious Hiranuma Award during the 133rd Annual Meeting of The Japan Prosthodontics Society and 14th Biennial Congress of The Asian Academy of Prosthodontics (AAP). This significant event was held on 5-7 July 2024, in Chiba, Japan. The meeting aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among professionals in the field of prosthodontics.
During this event, drg. Adella presented her research, “Effect of Etching Time on Titanium Dental Implants with Aluminum Oxide Coating on Hemolysis Percentage and Platelet Activation,”which is expected to garner considerable attention. Her research explores the relationship between the surface treatment of implants and their biological response, which is crucial for improving patient outcomes in dental prosthetics.
The seminar featured a series of presentations on the latest technologies and advancements in prosthodontics.
