Dr. drg. Intan Ruspita, M.Kes., PhD., Sp.Pros(K), a lecturer from the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has been selected to represent Indonesia in the prestigious Medical Korea Academy 2024 program. The event is organized by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) and takes place from 19 August to 12 September 2024, at Fraser Place Namdaemun, Seoul, South Korea.
The program aims to train medical practitioners from various countries, introduce cultural diversity, and enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in the healthcare sector. Participants will study key topics such as "Healthcare in Korea," "Medical Law in Korea," and "Infection Control Programs," providing a comprehensive insight into Korea's healthcare system.
Dr. drg. Intan Ruspita, along with 17 other representatives, will gain hands-on experience in various hospitals across Korea, deepening their understanding of medical practices and the country’s healthcare system. This experience also serves as an opportunity for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and improving global healthcare standards.
Dr. drg. Intan Ruspita stated: "This experience will not only benefit my professional growth but also contribute to the advancement of dental education in Indonesia. I hope to bring back new knowledge to apply in teaching and clinical practice."
With a focus on professional development and cultural exchange, Medical Korea Academy serves as a crucial platform for knowledge sharing in the healthcare sector.
