Young Conservative Dentistry Lecturers Contribute to the Success of ICIBEL 2024 in Yogyakarta

The Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) proudly announces the contribution of young lecturers from the Conservative Dentistry department in ensuring the success of the International Conference for Innovation in Biomedical Engineering and Lifescience (ICIBEL) 2024, held on 22-23 September 2024, at Eastparc Hotel, Yogyakarta. This international conference served as a platform for experts from various fields to exchange knowledge, innovations, and the latest advancements in biomedical engineering and health sciences. Four talented young lecturers from UGM’s Specialist Program in Conservative Dentistry—drg. Henytaria Fajrianti, Sp.KG, drg. Rahmadani Puspitasari, MDSc., drg. Iffah Mardhyiah, M. Biomed, and drg. Fajar Satrio—actively participated in the event’s organizing committee, taking roles in planning, coordinating execution, and managing scientific discussion sessions.

ICIBEL 2024 is a prestigious conference attended by academics, practitioners, and researchers from various countries. The conference featured plenary sessions, panel discussions, research presentations, and showcases of biomedical engineering and health science innovations. In a brief interview, drg. Henytaria Fajrianti stated, "Our involvement in ICIBEL 2024 provided a valuable experience, especially in expanding our network with experts from different countries. We are proud to contribute while also promoting FKG UGM on the international stage."

Through their participation in ICIBEL 2024, young lecturers from UGM’s Conservative Dentistry department have not only demonstrated their competence in supporting international events but also proven that the next generation of FKG UGM is ready to compete and contribute to global innovations. This conference stands as concrete evidence of FKG UGM's commitment to advancing science and healthcare for the well-being of society worldwide.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by supporting the improvement of quality of life through health science advancements, and Goal 4 (Quality Education), by introducing the latest innovations and knowledge to participants from various countries.
