FKG UGM Lecturer Wins 1st Place in Scientific Award at Airlangga Annual Orthodontic Seminar

drg. Aulia Ayub, Sp.Ort, a lecturer in the Orthodontics Department at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), achieved 1st place in the Scientific Award competition for research at the 3rd Airlangga Annual Orthodontic Seminar held from 6 to 7 September 2024. The event was attended by orthodontic residents and orthodontic specialists from various universities across Indonesia.

With the theme “Recent Technology in Clinical Practice of Orthodontics-Dentofacial Orthopaedics,” the seminar served as an important platform for orthodontic experts to share the latest knowledge and innovations. During this two-day event, participants had the opportunity to explore various topics related to technological advancements in clinical orthodontics and the latest strategies in dentofacial orthopedics.

drg. Aulia Ayub, recognized for her dedication to the field of orthodontics, not only achieved remarkable success in the competition but also contributed to the seminar by presenting recent developments in clinical orthodontics-dentofacial orthopedics. With her expertise, she provided valuable insights that are expected to inspire participants to apply the latest technologies in their practices.

“This achievement is the result of hard work and a solid team collaboration. I hope this research can contribute to improving the quality of orthodontic services in Indonesia,” said drg. Aulia after receiving the award.
