A lecturer from the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada, drg. Aulia Ayub, Sp.Ort, won 2nd place in the Scientific Award for the Case Report category at the 3rd Airlangga Annual Orthodontic Seminar (6-7 September). The event, themed “Recent Technology in Clinical Practice of Orthodontics-Dentofacial Orthopaedics,” successfully attracted many participants who enthusiastically engaged in various seminar sessions and discussions.
Aulia Ayub expressed gratitude and pride for this achievement. “I am very thankful to the senior lecturers who have provided support,” he stated. He believes this accomplishment motivates him to delve deeper into the field of orthodontics and become an even better educator. “I believe that every small step in research can have a significant impact on clinical practice,” he added.
He presented the latest technological advancements in clinical orthodontic-dentofacial orthopedics. Seminar participants gained insights into how technology can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of orthodontic treatment, providing more optimal outcomes for patients.
