Music is an integral part of human life. In addition to serving as a universal form of entertainment, music can strengthen unity and a sense of brotherhood across all levels of society. Moreover, music can also be an effective medium for conveying moral messages on a wide range of topics.
As members of the academic community in the health sciences, we are expected to be more sensitive to health-related issues, especially those that are currently prevalent in society. Therefore, Dental Project 2025 has created a series of events that can be used not only as a means of entertainment but also as a platform to deliver benefits in other aspects, namely health, which is realized in the form of dental and oral health education for the community. It is hoped that through the implementation of Dental Project 2025, featuring a lineup of Tulus, HiVi, Yovie & The Nuno, and The Reality Club, the continued existence of Dental Project, which has been held year after year, can be maintained while also providing valuable experience for FKG UGM students involved in the activity. Following the success of Dental Project 2024 with the theme ofPreventive Dentistry, Dental Project 2025 once again adopts the theme of Preventive Dentistry. The focus of preventive dentistry is to maintain overall health through dental and oral health in order to reduce the probability of the community being exposed to dental and oral diseases and to minimize the need for curative dental and oral treatments. Preventive dentistry is closely related to health promotion, which aims to raise public awareness of the importance of health so that, ultimately, individuals themselves take initiatives to maintain their own health.

Therefore, Dental Project 2025 is expected to provide educational benefits that can be enjoyed by all segments of society. The main concert is the culmination of the series of Dental Project 2025 activities and will be held on Saturday, 8 November 2025 at Lapangan Pancasila. In line with the educational theme being promoted, educational information on Preventive Dentistry will be delivered during the event. At the main concert, there will be several performances by student activity units (UKM) within the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, in collaboration with the deanery and the guest stars of Dental Project 2025, namely Yovie and Nuno, HiVi, Reality Club, and Tulus.
A total of 9,300 visitors filled the Pancasila Field area at UGM. Dental Project 2025 also invited all department heads of FKG UGM, the Student Affairs office, the rectors of all faculties and schools at UGM, as well as representatives from the Police and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). However, not all invited guests were able to attend the event and were instead represented by their closest associates.
One of the performers at Dental Project 2025 stated, “Dental Project 2025 shows that a concert is not only about entertainment, but also about cross-disciplinary collaboration. As a performer, I am proud to be part of an event that combines education, art, and a spirit of togetherness. The audience was enthusiastic, the stage was magnificent, and the management was professional. An extraordinary experience!”
Aziz, as the Chair of Dental Project 2025, stated, “Dental Project 2025 is the result of the hard work of the entire committee (FKG UGM students), performers, sponsors, the support of FKG, and the extraordinary support of the audience. We strive to present a concert that is not only entertaining but also carries a positive message about the importance of dental and oral health, as well as solidarity among dental students. Seeing such tremendous enthusiasm makes all the efforts feel worthwhile. Thank you to all parties who made this event successful and memorable!”
