Universitas Gadjah Mada continues to strengthen its position as a world-class university. This was evidenced by a visit from a delegation of the University Medical Center Groningen (UMC Groningen) on Thursday (05/10) to UGM's Faculty of Dentistry (FKG UGM). Thirty-five new dental graduates from FKG UGM were inaugurated on Wednesday (30/08) at the Auditorium of Margono Soeradji Building, 3rd Floor. In his address, Dean of FKG UGM drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D. delivered the good news that FKG UGM has achieved recognition as the top dental faculty in Indonesia for August 2023. 

Hari ini (26/08) FKG UGM menyelenggarakan Sarasehan Nasional Peminatan Etik, Hukum dan Disiplin Kedokteran Gigi (PETIKUMDIKGI) bertajuk Kontribusi & Peluang Pengembangan Petikumdikgi dalam Pembangunan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut di Indonesia. Bertempat di Lantai 3 Gedung Margono Soeradji FKG UGM, acara ini diawali dengan menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya, Hymne UGM, dan Mars PDGI, dilanjutkan dengan sambutan oleh Ketua Panitia drg. Rosa Amalia, M.Kes., Ph.D serta Ketua PETIKUMDIKGI sekaligus Dekan FKG UGM drg. Suryono S.H., M.M., Ph.D. Dalam kesempatan ini, Menteri Kesehatan RI Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, CHFC, CLU turut hadir memberikan sambutannya melalui video secara daring.

On Wednesday (23/08/2023), FKG UGM organized a Training on 3D Printing Techniques for Biomedical Applications. In 2022, FKG UGM acquired a three-dimensional (3D) printer for biomedical applications in dental medicine through the "Kedaireka" Matching Fund scheme

On Tuesday (22/08/2023), the Integrated Research Laboratory conducted a Stem Cell demonstration led by PT Abirama. This workshop introduced the method of isolating peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). Additionally, it showcased the isolation of natural killer (NK) cells using the principle of immunomagnetic separation.
