Yogyakarta, December 14, 2025 — The Alumni Family of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), Class of 1995, which is also part of KAKGIGAMA, demonstrated a strong commitment to education by donating educational scholarships to FKG UGM. The donation was symbolically presented during an event held on the FKG UGM campus and attended by faculty representatives and alumni.
During the event, the FKG UGM Class of 1995 alumni donated a total of IDR 30,001,995.00 in scholarship funds. The donation is intended to support FKG UGM students, particularly in ensuring the continuity of their studies and enhancing the quality of dental education.
Representing the Class of 1995 alumni, drg. Hendri Susanto, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.PM, stated that the scholarship donation was an expression of gratitude as well as the alumni’s concern for their alma mater, which played a significant role in their academic and professional journeys. The activity also reflects the spirit of togetherness and solidarity among alumni across generations.
The Dean of FKG UGM, Prof. drg. Suryono, SH., MM., Ph.D., warmly welcomed and appreciated the contribution. The scholarship donation is expected to provide direct benefits to recipient students and serve as inspiration for other alumni cohorts to continue contributing to the development of education at FKG UGM.
The donation ceremony took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, followed by a group photo session between alumni and faculty representatives. This activity further strengthened the relationship between alumni and the institution and reaffirmed the role of alumni as strategic partners in supporting FKG UGM’s educational mission. With support from alumni, FKG UGM remains optimistic about continuing to produce outstanding, ethical dental graduates who contribute to society.
