The Alumni Family of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAKGIGAMA), Class of 1995, organized a series of events commemorating 30 years of togetherness under the theme “Gumelar Senyum.” The activities took place over three days, from Friday to Sunday, December 12–14, 2025, in Yogyakarta and Magelang.
The celebration began on Friday (December 12) with an alumni gathering, starting with lunch and followed by accommodation arrangements in Yogyakarta. In the evening, the alumni enjoyed a warm dinner at Warung Klangenan, accompanied by casual activities such as chatting and having coffee together to reconnect after a long time apart.
The program also included a group photo session at the helipad area and phantom room, as well as a symbolic tree-planting activity involving an alligator avocado tree on campus. This activity was interpreted as a reflection of sustainability awareness and the alumni’s legacy for future generations.
The event series continued with a trip to Magelang by large bus. Upon arrival, participants enjoyed views of rice fields, took group photos, and joined a parade using classic Volkswagen vehicles. The activity concluded with a group lunch before returning to Yogyakarta and stopping at a souvenir center in the Muntilan area.
The highlight of the celebration took place on Saturday evening with a Gala Dinner in Yogyakarta. The warm and friendly atmosphere was enhanced by gift exchanges, memory video screenings, interactive games, and singing together, bringing back memories of the alumni’s student days.

On the final day, Sunday (December 14), the alumni participated in the Nitilaku Kagama event by gathering at the UGM Roundabout. Wearing white T-shirts and batik scarves provided by the organizing committee, participants joined a group walk and photo sessions at the UGM Roundabout and Grha Sabha Pramana. The event concluded with lunch and preparations to escort fellow alumni back to their respective hometowns.
Through “Gumelar Senyum,” the FKG UGM Class of 1995 alumni not only celebrated 30 years of togetherness but also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining strong ties, contributing to their alma mater, and providing benefits to the wider community.
