Prof. drg. Tetiana Haniastuti, M.Kes., Ph.D.

Prof. drg. Tetiana Haniastuti, M. Kes., Ph.D. is a full professor at the Department of Oral Biology, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Currently, she serves as the Chairperson of the Faculty Senate at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She was Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the same institution from 2016 to 2021. Before her Vice Dean position, she served as the Chair of the Department of Oral Biology. From 2009 to 2016, she was Vice Director of Finance and Human Resources at the Prof. Soedomo Dental Hospital, Universitas Gadjah Mada.

At the national level, Prof. Tetiana has been a member of the Indonesia Doctor Internship Program team under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia since 2021. Since 2022, she has been serving as the Chair of the Oral Biology Association for the DIY and Central Java regions. From 2016 to 2022, she was actively involved as a member of the Indonesian Dental College.

After obtaining her dental degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, in 1996, she earned her master's degree in 1998, graduating cum laude from the same university. In 2009, she received her Ph.D. from Niigata University, Japan.

Prof. Tetiana began her career in Dentistry as a lecturer. She has extensively supervised and examined scientific works as part of students' final assignments for various levels of study, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Her research interests focus on caries, encompassing both microbiological and immunological aspects. In addition to her involvement in various research projects and as a speaker at seminars and workshops, Prof. Tetiana has published numerous research findings in reputable national and international scientific journals.
