Lisdrianto Hanindriyo has been working as an academic and researcher at the Faculty of Dentistry, UGM, since 2007 and has significantly contributed to dental research. He is also a dental practitioner at RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo and runs a private practice. He obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from Maastricht University, Netherlands, and a doctoral degree in Dental Sciences (Preventive Dentistry) from Niigata University, Japan. He has been awarded expert titles as a Fellow of the Indonesian Society on Dental Public Health and a Fellow of the Indonesian Society on Preventive Dentistry (FISDPH, FISPD) by PDGI (Indonesian Dental Association). In 2016-2017, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Preventive Dentistry at Niigata University, Japan, where he also served as a data management supervisor for the National Oral Health Survey of Myanmar project at WHOCC (World Health Organization-Collaborating Center).
He is an Associate Professor of Preventive Dentistry and Public Oral Health at the Department of IKGP and IKGM, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He has received research funding from Niigata University and MEXT, Japan; the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia; the Faculty of Dentistry, UGM; and The Borrow Foundation (UK). His research interests include geriatric populations, preventive and promotive dentistry, and health information systems. He teaches Preventive Dentistry, Biostatistics, Sociology, Research Methodology, Health Promotion, Health Policy, and Global Oral Health in the undergraduate dental program, master's program, Specialist Dentist Education Program (PPDGS), and doctoral program at the Faculty of Dentistry.
