drg. Adella Syvia Maharani, MDSc., Sp.Pros, commonly known as drg. Adella, is a faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM). She earned her Bachelor's degree (S1) in 2013 and her dentist profession education degree (drg.) in 2015 from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She obtained her Master's degree (S2) from the Master of Dental Science program at FKG UGM in 2018 and completed her Specialist Prosthodontics training in 2023.
drg. Adella currently teaches prosthodontics, with a particular focus on removable partial dentures. She is interested in research topics such as denture materials, bioadhesion, and biomaterials. drg. Adella is actively engaged in research funded by the Community Grant Fund of FKG UGM and has several publications in reputable journals.
Besides her teaching role, she practices clinically at a private clinic. She is interested in all aspects of prosthodontics, with a special focus on removable dentures and maxillofacial prostheses. She is also actively involved in professional organizations, including the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI) and the Indonesian Prosthodontic Association (IPROSI).
