Dr. drg. Dyah Irnawati, MS, a lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), who has been serving since 1988, was born in Surakarta on 26 December 1960. She completed her elementary, junior, and senior high school education in Bogor. She pursued her undergraduate and dentist profession degrees at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, graduating as a dentist in 1986. She continued her education with a master's degree at the Graduate Program of Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, which she completed in 1993. She earned her doctoral degree in 2015 from the Doctoral Program in Dental Science at the Faculty of Dentistry, UGM. She serves in the Department of Dental Biomaterials Science, where she has research interests in dental polymers, nanoporous materials, and preventive materials. Her current research topics include the modification of acrylic resin with antimicrobial agents and the utilization of essential oils as preventive materials.
