The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, will turn 74 on 5 March 2022. However, the festivity of the 74th anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, is already felt.
The opening of the Anniversary of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, was conducted in a blended manner. The core activities took place physically in a limited manner at the Atrium on the 1st floor of the Dental Learning Center building, which is incidentally the new building of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, on Tuesday, 11 January 2022. Since morning, there has been a busy atmosphere at the DLC building's lobby, especially among health workers who are part of the Covid-19 Task Force of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada. It is noted that no less than 100 people participated in this activity, and all of them were declared negative for the Covid-19 virus after being checked using Genose or antigen swabs.
The opening of the 74th Anniversary of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, was physically attended by internal faculty officials, alumni of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and the Dean of RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo. Meanwhile, staff and students of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, joined this activity virtually.
The event began with the launch of the logo of the 74th Anniversary of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, which this time carries the theme "Advancing with Togetherness, Excelling in Achievements." The series of anniversary activities was symbolically opened with a gong strike by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D. The event ended with a performance of the Cendrawasih dance by students. Thus, the entire series of activities for the 74th Anniversary of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada, officially began.
